I would definitely play GoW 3 though, just keep in mind that they went balls to the wall on all the fights so the scale is gonna be insane (perfect capstone to the trilogy). The entire original series is more than worth it. Now, to wait 10 minutes for someone else to ask. Every God of War game is worth playing.
If you want to get all games anyway you should buy Odyssey with the Season Pass (or the gold edition, which is the same) since AC3 Remastered is part of that. Probably cheaper this way. With regards to the original vs remastered, the remastered has much better visuals for environments but worse for character faces.
yeah, sadly the minority of God of war fans have actually played the original games. I see most people in this sub say that it isn't worth playing the originals, and that you can just skip straight to gow 4 but it would be a dream come true for me to get the originals in modern graphics
Thats not entirely what I was getting at reka. Maybe I misunderstood the topic, what I meant was that while the GOW collection was remastered in HD for PS3, not all of the cutscenes received the same treatment. In game graphics are noticeably improved, as are CGI cutscenes, but the cutscenes using the in game engine are still PS2 era.
Let's find out if this God Of War 3 Remastered edition is worth picking up for fans of the series and those who have already played it back on the PS3. God of War 3 crams in more enemies, more detailed executions, more detailed environments, and even more gruesome moves.
